As I am wont to do on occasion, I'm going to open this workout recap post by talking about something that has nothing to do with exercise. I've now gotten reviews from purchasers on each of my ebooks, one for Deceit on Smashwords and one for Saraphel on Amazon. To my immense joy, they've both been very positive reviews, too, with a combined average score of 4.5/5. I've no idea if there's any way for me to get in touch with either of the reviewers directly (at the very leas
The middle of this week left me with some soreness in a few spots of my body. None of it was significant individually, but given the collective protest, I thought it'd be best to do only 4 workouts. The extra day off was quite fortuitous in its own right since it left me free to do a sudden favor for a friend, and I've been feeling back to 100% afterwards, so all in all, I'd say it was the right decision. Sunday Type: Pass/Fail Shoulder-width Handstand Push Ups - 1 set of 1
I didn't intend to have my views on what constitutes good design in tabletop roleplaying games (TTRPG) be a significant part of this blog. A week has passed, and I still haven't posted that book review. I'll get to it, but it was So Okay It's Average, so I've just had more compelling things to do with my time. Sunday Type: Pass/Fail Shoulder-width Handstand Push Ups - 1 set of 15 (pass) Towel Pull Ups - 1 set of 12 (pass) Pistol Squats, both hands behind me - 1 set of 6, each side (pass) Bonus: 4 sets of 3 half-Aztec push ups Just like last week's opening, but better in every respect (aside from the bonus). Tardiness with this recap post notwithstanding, I'm quite happy with how this week went. I had some measurable progress from my last week (for a certain definition of "measurable", at any rate), and I managed to fit in a five workouts despite having dedicated even more time to helping my friend (it helped that the help was something we'd planned in advance in this case). Now, if only I could get around to also posting a review for a book I finished recently, I'd be golden.
