Workout Recap - Week of November 21, 2021

Somewhat of a time-crunched week for me, but I did fit in five workouts, so there's that.

 

Monday

Type: Pass/Fail

Pull Ups - 1 set of 13 (pass)

Bridges - 1 set of 20 (pass)

Push Ups - 1 set of 30 (pass)

Bonus: none


This was a case of "doing something resembling a workout is better than doing nothing at all". Nothing more needs to be said about it.


Tuesday

Type: As Fast As Possible

3 sets of:

21/15/9 Lunges (each side)

21/15/9 Handstand Push Ups

21/15/9 Straight Leg Raises


Time = 9:00

Bonus: 7 close pull ups


Since forearm discomfort during handstand push ups was a hot topic last week, I figured putting an emphasis on doing more of them during my timed workouts this week might help to sort that out.


Wednesday

Type: Pass/Fail

Uneven Handstand Push Ups - 1 set of 5, each side (pass)

Isometric L-Hang - 1 set of 32 breaths (pass)

Shrimp Squats, both hands behind me - 1 set of 12, each side (pass)

Bonus: none


At least this was closer to a real workout, compared Monday.


Friday

Type: As Fast As Possible

3 sets of:

11/8/5 Pull Ups

11/8/5 Handstand Push Ups

21/15/9 Straight Leg Raises


Time = 5:15

Bonus: 13 breath isometric flexed hang


There was still a little tightness in my forearm during the handstand push ups, but it seemed to be less pronounced than it was last week, so I'll take that as a sight that I'm on the right track.


Saturday

Type: As Fast As Possible

3 sets of:

21/15/9 Handstand Push Ups

21/15/9 Bridges

21/15/9 Straight Leg Raises


Time = 8:45

Bonus: 6 chin ups


I needed plenty of breaks during the bridges. While I might be on the right track in certain areas, there's always more work to be done.
