Workout Recap - Week of April 17, 2022
Another week of good workouts. I was a bit out of sorts mentally on Saturday, so I opted for an easier capstone than I'd intended at the week's start, but all in all, I'm happy with how things went. I will be ticking things down to just four workouts next week due to a certain mid-week appointment, but I feel like I'm due for a lighter week anyway after four straight of getting back up to my old intensity. Workout Recap - Week of April 10, 2022
I skipped out on a weekend challenge workout due to dealing with tax paperwork this weekend. Aside from that, though, I'm pretty pleased with how this week's workouts went. While there's clearly still room for improvement (as always), I was generally amped up during the workout and fatigued in a relaxing and satisfying way afterwards. I brought back some heat this week, and I'm thrilled about how my body handled it. Sure, the completion times could've been better, but I'm quite happy to take that in stride with the knowledge that I was pushing myself. I'm currently recovering from some nasty DOMS, which is a fair sign that I did actually push myself pretty hard this week. I can live with a bit of pain management/tolerance in that exchange.
