Catching up, part four. Tuesday Muay Thai class This class worked on long sequences. It was rough for my first one back after a bout of illness over the weekend, but I survived. Catching up, part three. Monday Muay Thai class + Boxing class The guest kru made this whole class about building up a big progressive drill. I don't mean to be negative about it, but despite including elbow and knee strikes, I just felt like it got bloated after the first few steps to a point that felt unnecessary. The boxing class, on the other hand, worked on defensive reactions and countering, which is always a worthwhile topic, especially when handled well. Tuesday

Catching up, part two. Monday Muay Thai class + Boxing class The guest kru ran this class about progressively building up a sequence involving feints. It was a good thing to practice, even if the drills were scripted to a point where I feel like they weren't giving full potential value, but that's honestly a nitpick. The boxing class focused on quick entry and exiting with an offensive burst in between. It seemed like the more practical of the two classes to me. Tuesday
Workout Recap - Week of April 12, 2026
Has it been a month already? Monday Muay Thai class + Boxing class This was a fundamentals review class. It was a basic but good grind, with some extra calisthenics added on compared to usual. This was my first real class with the new boxing coach, and I liked how it went. We worked on movement and managing space with jabs. It was definitely a different approach compared to the main kru, but it was sensible enough that I'm looking forward to doing more. Tuesday Muay T
