Workout Recap - Week of December 12, 2021

I fit in five workouts again this week, though as with the last one, the degree of difficulty ended up being scaled back. A large part of that was frustration over my timing error on Tuesday spilling over to mess up the rest of them. I shouldn't have let it get to me, but it did.

Monday

Type: As Fast As Possible

3 sets of:

11/8/5 Burpees

21/15/9 Diamond Push Ups

21/15/9 Mountain Climbers (each side)


Time = 6:45

Bonus: 6 hammer pull ups


A return to some timed burpees, and I'm generally satisfied with how that went. I ought to do more of them.


Tuesday

Type: As Fast As Possible

3 sets of:

21/15/9 Plyometric Lunges

21/15/9 Diamond Push Ups

21/15/9 Straight Leg Raises


Time = N/A

Bonus: none


After doing the first set, I realized that I screwed up and forgot to start my timer. That rather pissed me off, especially since it's a mistake that I don't think I've made before. I still finished things, but it was a big disappointment.


Wednesday

Type: As Fast As Possible

3 sets of:

21/15/9 Plyometric Lunges

21/15/9 Diamond Push Ups

21/15/9 Straight Leg Raises


Time = 4:45

Bonus: 9 hammer pull ups


After Tuesday's mistake, I felt compelled to make up for it here. Honestly, that completion time seems slow, but I suppose it is what it is.


Friday

Type: Pass/Fail

Handstand Push Ups - 1 set of 20 (pass)

Hanging Leg Raises - 1 set of 14 (pass)

Shrimp Squats, both hands behind me - 1 set of 13 (pass)

Bonus: none


Trying to get things somewhat back on track, I ended up dithering about too much when I was supposed to do my workout and had to trim this down to a single set for brevity.


Saturday

Type: Pass/Fail

Pull Ups - 1 set of 10 (pass)

Bridges - 1 set of 15 (pass)

Push Ups - 1 set of 20 (pass)

Bonus: none


Not going to lie: this was too weak to even really call it a maintenance workout. It was something that I did just to do something, but for what I should be doing, it was not a good way to close out the week.
