No training on Thursday because the gym was closed due to bad weather, and I did enough unrecorded exercise digging out of the snow for a couple of hours to not want an official workout of the day on top.

Monday

Muay Thai class

This was a fundamentals review class, as a fine excuse to fire up the fight camp polish for competitions coming up next month while also helping newer people get up to speed. Speaking of which, I was working in a trio with an experienced person and a newbie, so I was in teaching mode. Nothing remarkable in particular, but it was a good session.

Tuesday

Muay Thai class

This class focused on long boxing sequences ending with a finishing kick. The kru had me partner with a newbie to help them along. They were very raw, but they were receptive to advice, so I was fine with the arrangement. As ever, that's also a good prompt to focus on making sure my own form is as good as I can make it.

Wedneday

Muay Thai class

This class continued the previous one's theme of working on long boxing sequences with a kick tacked on. My partner was dealing with a leg injury, so we modified some of the drills to accommodate when I was holding the pads. It was a little surprising that the kru didn't question us, because she usually doesn't like people changing the substance of the drills, but perhaps she trusted that I was doing it for a good reason, especially if she noticed that I was doing the drills as directed when it was my turn to strike. Nothing definitive, of course, but it's suggestive of a good sign.
