Catching up on the recaps that I've missed lately.
Monday
Muay Thai class
The guest kru was teaching a progressive drill class this day. It was good work with lots of natural repetition for the early elements to help really dial in the technique through fatigue.
Tuesday
Muay Thai class
This was a round kick day, with lots of checking and returning to work on defense and offense. We also did a lot of squats in between for extra conditioning. All in all, good hard work.
Wednesday
Muay Thai class
The regular kru wasn't able to attend this class, so the boxing coach took over teaching it and ran an athletic-conditioning-focused session. I don't typically think of myself as anything special on that front because I'm small and slow, but one thing I am good at is grinding through fatigue, so I ended up being bizarrely well-suited to this one. It was cool stuff that has me excited to start double-classing again soon.
Thursday
Muay Thai class
This class was about knee and elbow strikes. Nice fundamentals, and definitely something I always enjoy. A nice way to round out the week.
