Late posting this because I'd been away on a work trip last week, so there wasn't a pressing need. October 27's work will remain hidden in my personal records.
Monday
Muay Thai double class
The guest kru had us work on starting with a simple drill and building on it gradually to end up with some extended offense practice. Then we finished up by having some fun with jumping round kicks, which the main kru complimented me on (granted that her standards were probably lowered by how many people seemed to be struggling with them, so I'm not reading much into that). I was able to stay for a second class, too, so I got in a good bit of extra freestyle padwork. Fun stuff, even if I was pretty tired by the end from being out of practice at doing so much.
Tuesday
Muay Thai class
This was a kick-focused day, working on chaining various pairings of front and round kicks. It was a good fundamental review. My partner also complimented me on having good impact with my left kicks, which I don't entirely believe, but there might be some truth to it because I was pushing them around a bit.
Wednesday
Muay Thai class
This was a basic day, working on some offense > defense > counter sequences. It was good, practical work with a nice flow to it, but I don't have much else to say than that.
Thursday
Muay Thai class
This was a boxing day, working on a mix of offense and defense. The kru was complimentary about my evasion technique, which might've been a bit of mocking since I tend to be more basic in my defense during sparring, but maybe there was some real merit to it. In any case, it was a good class.
